Recent ActivityWhat is the Cottonwood Parent Action Council?
The Cottonwood PAC is an self-sufficient school organization comprised of parents, teachers and administrators. Our purpose is to aid and enhance our children's education.
The Cottonwood PAC:
-
holds an annual Winter Festival for students and their families;
-
recruits and supports room parents so each teacher has a room parent to help with communication and organization of parties and special events; and
-
raises money through an annual fundraising event in the fall and then using that money to fund requests from teachers and parents in the form of mini-grants.
All parents are encouraged to attend. Child care is provided. In addition to present and past business, Dr. Tomlin will be there to bring us up to date with what is going on at the school and in the district.

"Family Game Night" Friday, February 24, 2012 6:00-9:00 pm Passports are $10 Pre-Sale of Passports and Tickets for the evening events will be available for purchase at Cottonwood starting on Wednesday, Feb. 22and, and Thursday, Feb. 23rd 2:45-3:15. Also, they can be purchased at the door on festival night. It is going to be a fun night for our school. Hope to see everyone there! P.A.C Metting Our next PAC meeting is on Tuesday, January 17th. We are changing the time to 6:00-7:30 this month. Kirk Henwood, Director of Human Resources, will be there to ask for input on attributes you would like to see in the new Principal. I hope you all will come.
